Ameet Shetty is a data and analytics leader who delivers cutting-edge capabilities and exceptional financial outcomes for leading global corporations. He recently served as VP, Chief Data Officer (CDO) & Energy Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Pilot Company (a Berkshire Hathaway Company). Pilot is a $40B supplier of fuel and travel centers in North America. Ameet led the Enterprise Data Strategy, Data Engineering and Provisioning, and the modernization of Pilot’s entire IT infrastructure. He managed a team of 160 people.
Prior to that Ameet served as Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) for McDonald’s, the largest fast-food restaurant chain in the world. Ameet built a Data and Analytics team from scratch to deliver centralized expertise, consistent data governance, and top-line revenue growth across McDonald’s global footprint.
Ameet also held multiple executive leadership roles for SunTrust Bank (Truist Financial), including Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO), and CTO, Corporate Functions Business Information Officer. He also served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Fifth Third Bank. He began his career with IBM.
Ameet holds a BBA, Finance from The University of Georgia and an MBA, Marketing from Georgia State University.
