Sanjay Lall is a global interim and direct CIO, CTO, and M&A executive. He successfully leads, aligns, integrates and secures companies through growth cycles, value-chain disruptions, digital transformations, due diligence, and acquisitions.

Sanjay focuses on strategic, cross-functional implementations of global systems — from front-end digital, mobile, CRM e-commerce to backend ERP, EPM, HCM, SCM application technologies, and outsourcing — within 3PL cold chain supply logistics, manufacturing, service, medical devices, CPG (food/drink), and telecom industries.

His years as an operating executive include serving as the CIO with Americold, the largest publicly-traded provider of temperature-controlled warehouse, distribution and logistics systems; Interface, the world’s largest designer and manufacturer of modular flooring; and Tyco, the commercial market leader of fire safety and monitoring systems.

He also held senior IS and IT executive positions with Steris, Suntory, The Coca-Cola Company, GTE/Contel, General Electric, and General Motors/EDS. Sanjay has also helped establish a technology-focused startup and participated in multiple rounds of investor funding.

Sanjay has led numerous IT due diligence and acquired and integrated multiple acquisitions. He has executed transformations to private and public cloud, established public cloud data lake platforms, ITGC SOX compliance, and established from the ground up a team to manage Industrial Control Systems (ICS/OT) for lights-out automated warehouses. Sanjay has hands-on expertise working through a major cyber incident and recovering critical customer-facing business systems and bringing up operations within a 48-hour turn time.

Sanjay holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Miami and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. He has served on the Board of Make-a-Wish GA and has also been named a finalist for the Georgia CIO award.
